How do we encourage collaboration and engagement among our elementary school learners? We, as School Librarians, must co-teach! But, where do we start? This session will explain the concept of co-teaching and provide insight into the various co-teaching models. A suggested outline is provided for how to implement co-teaching, including planning, preparation, and assessment. Lesson examples demonstrate the effective practice of co-teaching in promoting learner collaboration and engagement.
