Join us on a journey of developing socially responsible global citizens! Discover an authentic learning unit where learners work collaboratively to promote awareness about global human rights. Students uncover world issues they are passionate about, develop research questions, participate in digitally responsible research and create a community wide movement to highlight their findings. This project showcases teacher/librarian collaboration and the shared foundations of Inquiry and Collaboration.

Learning Objectives:
  • Consider the importance of teaching global citizenship as Inquiry.
  • Create an authentic project-based learning experience that incorporate inquiry, collaboration and the creation of a hands-on final product.
  • Consider how our experience can influence you to incorporate this approach in your collaborative work.
