Nov 6, 2015 11:20am ‐ Nov 6, 2015 12:20pm

Description

One-to-one device schools and BYOD programs create new learning environments challenging school libraries to change. Expanding digital schools in Orlando, Florida led to rethinking the professional development used to train new school librarians. Creating quality professional development for digital school librarians meant rethinking and recreating the district's plan to meet today's needs and provide for future flexibility. Participants will learn about one district's approach and have the opportunity to share insights from their own experiences.
