Taking time to intentionally plan for your library or school district improves your practice, helps communicate your goals and documents your achievements. This session will help you:Consider value of planning; Better understand strategic and advocacy planning; Provide a roadmap for planning; and, Start planning.

Learning Objectives:
  • Participants will understand the benefits of strategic & advocacy planning for the library.
  • Investigate a shared foundation engage, & evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of their library.
  • Identify a concern of school administration & create a an advocacy goal that will support the needs of the school administration.
