Description

Learn about how to open Guided Inquiry sessions using high quality children's literature. School Librarian will hear examples of how a museum educator from the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum uses children's literature to inspire inquiry about a variety of topics, such as flight, bravery, space exploration and astronomy. Participants will identify literature that they can use and begin to map out inquiries that children could follow after reading the text.
