Description
Vermont’s portrait of a graduate recognizes the competencies of the six Shared Foundations of the National School Library Standard, as skills necessary for college and career readiness. This led to the development of K-12 school library proficiencies. The authors explore how they use the National School Library Standards to support proficiency-based, personalized, and flexible pathways of learning in Vermont to help fulfill the district vision of a graduate who is college and career ready.
