Credits: None available.

Standard: $6.99

Description

Collaboration thrives only when both parties participate. In order to better enhance collaboration between school librarians and teachers from various subject areas, librarians should be actively involved with teachers’ professional development activities. Hear how grant-funded professional development workshops allowed teachers and librarians a collaborative PD opportunity. Findings of the study accompanying the workshops, some of the teaching strategies and an overview of informational texts used during the workshops will be shared.
