There are thousands of apps available. How do educators and teacher librarians evaluate, vet, curate and use apps with students? Is mobile technology worth the investment in terms of the technology learning curve, cost and time? What is the value of apps in curriculum development? This workshop will help educators learn how AASL's Best Apps for Teaching and Learning Committee evaluated and selected apps for the 2014 Best Apps for Teaching and Learning list.
