After a year of turmoil, taking steps to improve and increase your self-care is one thing you can do to reach for better. Compassion fatigue, being overworked and underpaid, and the emotional stress that is added simply because we care about each and every one of our students can take a toll on our capacity to care for ourselves both physically and mentally. Creating space for yourself to breathe and process emotions can also improve your interactions with co-workers and students.
