Invisible No More: Meeting the Needs of Autism Spectrum Disorder Students in the School Library

Nov 10, 2017 4:30pm ‐ Nov 10, 2017 5:30pm

Standard: $6.99
Members: $0.00

Description

Autism Spectrum Disorder students are making up an increasing percentage of our school populations. This session will expose you to programming ideas and grant opportunities available to schools to help implement programming that targets students with ASD. Programming ideas include job skills, cooperative learning and the use of inflatable mascots (crazy, I know…but the science is there) to help ASD students interact with the community. Come think outside the box with us!
