Description

Hear directly from library media specialists, a school-based administrator and central office supervisors about how Howard County, Maryland implemented Student Learning Objectives (SLOs). Participants will learn how sample SLOs were created and implemented at all levels. Strategies learned in this session will provide participants with a way to use assessment in teaching and learning to ensure the library media program is meeting its goals, as outlined in Empowering Learners: Guidelines for School Library Media Programs.
