What do popular young adult fiction, literary classics, and history have in common? The role of government powers, class structure, social injustices, diversity, and the concept of rights as citizens, of course! Collaboration between a classroom teacher and a media specialist resulted in hands on and digital activities that appealed to all students and demanded higher thinking order skills.
