Nov 11, 2017 3:10pm ‐ Nov 11, 2017 4:10pm

Standard: $6.99
Members: $0.00

Description

Students in the digital age have access to exponentially increasing amounts of political information. Learn how school librarians can help students navigate this information explosion and encourage successful civic-political agency in a digital age. A high school’s critical civic literacy curriculum incorporated with the MacArthur Foundation’s “Ten Questions for Change Makers” is proposed as an example to bridge between theory and practice. Participants will discuss practical steps to infuse the framework into their own programs.
