Ellen Lawrence is an advocate for 21st-century learning. She is a certified leader, librarian, and technology specialist. Her district’s library program was named the 2012 National School Library Program of the Year by the American Library Association. Passionate about educational technology, Ellen completed a doctorate degree in instructional technology in 2018. She also dedicates time to present at local and national conferences on the topics of libraries, technology, and professional development. Ellen has over 20 years of experience as a high school librarian as well as classroom teaching experience as an adjunct professor in a school library certification program. In addition to teaching and learning, Ellen is an avid sports fan torn between Chicago hockey and St. Louis baseball.
