Courtney L. Lewis

Director of Libraries & Innovative Research, St. Catherine’s School

Courtney Lewis is director of library services and innovative research at St. Catherine’s School in Richmond, Virginia. She serves as chair of the Independent School Section for the Virginia Association of School Librarians. An AASL member, she serves on the AASL Leadership Development Committee and the AASL Public Charter Infographic Task Force. Courtney is past-chair of AASL’s Independent Schools Section. In 2012 she received the Young Adult Library Services Association’s Excellence in Library Services to Young Adults Award. She coauthored (with Rachel Bartron) the chapter “Beyond Kicking the Ball and the Physics of Sports: Teaching Process and Product to Ninth- Grade Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Students” published in Teaching Technology in Libraries (McFarland 2017).
