OELMA President, Nordonia Hills City School District
Angela holds a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Minor in Child Development-The University of Akron (2006), a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science, w/ Library Media K-12 Licensure- Kent State University (2009), and is a Google for Education Certified Trainer (2015).
She has been with Nordonia Hills City Schools in NE Ohio for a total of four years. She loves all things technology and library. She currently is the facilitator for the Know-How Nordonia staff professional development series in addition to being the 1:1 Integration Specialist and District Librarian. She also is the 2015 President of the Ohio Educational Library Media Association.Angela helps co-teach the district's Google Academy and serves as Technology Advocate for the High School.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading young adult literature, meeting authors, and traveling. She thinks school librarians today should be two things: innovative and fun, and her goal is to break the many stereotypes that exist in the field of librarianship-one at a time!
