Dr. Boyer is an instructional designer and information fluency expert. She has designed instruction for secondary, graduate and professional development learners. Her current research interests include digital curation, embedded librarianship, and inquiry learning models. Along with iNACOL, she has presented at AASL, ISTE, and Internet@Schools conferences. She received the 2014 AASL Collaborative School Library Award and is a co-author of the Library Technology Report: Social Media Curation (ALA, 2014) and has contributed the chapter on school libraries to The Handbook of Research on K-12 Online and Blended Learning.
