Lori Coffey Hancock

School Librarian, Lexington School

Lori Coffey Hancock is a school librarian at the Lexington School, a private preschool though eighth-grade school in Lexington, Kentucky. She is currently president of the Kentucky Association of School Librarians, in addition to serving on AASL’s Standards Implementation Committee and the AASL/ALSC/YALSA Interdivisional Committee on School-Public Library Cooperation. Lori served on the task force that recently revised the application process and selection rubric for the AASL National School Library of the Year Award. She also served on the AASL 2015 National School Library of the Year Selection Committee and the ALSC 2018 Newbery Award Selection Committee. She received her Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Kentucky. She is a member of AASL. Follow her on Twitter @lorichancock.
