Kasey L. Garrison

Dr. Kasey L. Garrison is a senior lecturer in the Master’s of Education-Teacher Librarianship program and coordinator of the Children’s Librarianship Specialisation at Charles Sturt University in Australia. She is a co-awardee of the Carnegie Whitney Award with Karen W. Gavigan for the project “Social Justice in Young Adult Graphic Novels: A Global Perspective.” She is the author of the two-part series “What’s Going on Down Under? Portrayals of Culture in Award-Winning Australian Young Adult Literature” published in the Journal of Research on Libraries and Young Adults last year.
