Allyson Mower

Allyson is an associate librarian and Head of Scholarly Communication & Copyright at the University of Utah Marriott Library. She researches the history of authorship and scholarly communication and provides information seekers with services related to both copyright and publishing. Her book Copyright Policies and Workflows in Libraries was published in 2019. Allyson is the Utah Library Association Program Board Vice-Chair and writes for the American Library Association Intellectual Freedom blog. Allyson was a Library Journal Mover & Shaker in 2008, was nominated as a 2012 Society for Scholarly Publishing Emerging Leader, and served as the U of U Academic Senate President in 2014.
